BioTuring and 10x Genomics Announce Strategic Collaboration to Streamline Single Cell and Spatial Data Analysis

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — January 26, 2026 — BioTuring and 10x Genomics, Inc. (Nasdaq: TXG), a leader in single cell and spatial biology, today announced a strategic collaboration to streamline and accelerate the path from data generation to biological insight for single cell and spatial research workflows.

The collaboration connects 10x’s Chromium single cell platform and Xenium and Visium spatial platforms with BioTuring’s advanced analytical ecosystem. This integration supports more efficient exploration, visualization and interpretation of high-complexity single cell and spatial multiomics data by enabling a more seamless, end-to-end workflow that extends the downstream capabilities of 10x’s software ecosystem.

As advances in single cell and spatial technologies enable larger and increasingly complex multimodal experiments, some researchers face challenges related to fragmented analysis workflows, access to scalable computational resources and analysis tools, and disconnected support resources. Through this collaboration, the two companies intend to reduce these challenges by improving continuity between 10x’s data generation and analysis capabilities and BioTuring’s advanced analysis platform.

The collaboration is focused on supporting researchers across key stages of the analysis workflow. The initial collaboration is focused on:

• Optimized analysis for 10x data, with BioTuring’s GPU-accelerated architecture designed to support the scale and multimodal nature of single cell and spatial datasets
• Aligned educational and technical resources, providing coordinated guidance across experimental and analytical stages

As part of the collaboration, all 10x customers new to BioTuring will have access to BioTuring’s analysis platform through a 30-day free access period, with preferred pricing available thereafter.

The collaboration is expected to expand by mid-2026 to include streamlined data transfer from 10x Cloud Analysis directly into BioTuring platforms, including SpatialX and BBrowserX Pro, eliminating the need for manual downloads, local storage and format conversion.

Together, these efforts are intended to enable researchers to spend less time managing data and more time generating insights.
