About BIO Future – Coming Home

BIO Future – Coming Home is designed to reconnect and inspire overseas Vietnamese students, from Bachelor’s to PhD levels, to bring their global knowledge, ambition, and love back to Vietnam.

The program offers a unique opportunity to work at the frontier of bioinformatics, alongside leading scientists and global pharmaceutical partners, on real-world health challenges.

Through hands-on projects, mentorship, and a clear career pathway, selected candidates will learn how to turn research into products that advance science and strengthen Vietnam’s innovation ecosystem.

After passing the selection process, candidates will begin a five-month journey. Those who qualify will transition into full-time Product Specialist roles at the intersection of science and technology.

More than a program, BIO Future – Coming Home is a call to return, lead, and help shape the future of science and technology in Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

• Master the product’s capabilities, workflows, and value.
• Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for product functionality and UX, particularly in bioinformatics, statistics, and data analytics.
• Lead demos, training, and client onboarding.
• Turn user feedback into clear, prioritized insights for Product and Engineering.
• Partner cross-functionally on launches, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Own technical documentation for internal teams and end-users.
• Lead QA, issue tracking, and feature validation.
• Input into the product roadmap based on user needs, market trends, and technical feasibility.
• Stay current with bioinformatics and statistical advancements.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Human Genetics, Bioinformatics, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology or related majors.
• Excellency in English.
• Open to all Vietnamese citizens, whether based locally or currently studying abroad, who are dedicated to establishing a long-term scientific legacy at home.
• Science-grounded, industry-driven talent eager to translate academic knowledge and research insights into real-world products.
