Role Description

As a Growth Specialist with extensive outbound experience, you will be crucial in engaging potential clients, understanding their needs, and introducing them to BioTuring’s cutting-edge solutions. This is a data-driven, results-oriented role where your focus on outbound sales strategies will be key in nurturing leads, collaborating with the commercial team, and driving successful deals to accelerate customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Strategy & Lead Generation: Strategically identify, research, and segment potential client pools from various sources (online platforms, scientific databases, LinkedIn, conferences, etc.) to expand our qualified customer base.
  • Prospect Engagement: Initiate and maintain positive relationships with prospects by effectively communicating BioTuring’s value proposition and tailoring messaging for different personas (scientists, bioinformaticians, IT leads, and procurement specialists).
  • High-Volume Outreach: Execute highly targeted cold emailing and calling campaigns to generate qualified leads and partnerships.
  • Sales Pipeline Support: Identify and qualify leads through targeted outbound efforts and transfer qualified opportunities to the commercial team or Account Executives for further engagement.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule appointments and secure demos with key decision-makers to facilitate follow-up meetings and drive scalable growth.
  • CRM & Data Management: Update and maintain detailed records of interactions with prospects using the designated CRM system.
  • Product & Market Intelligence: Stay informed about the latest product portfolio advancements and provide regular feedback on lead quality and competitive intelligence.
  • Continuous Development: Participate in ongoing training and coaching sessions to enhance your outbound sales skills and adapt to new bioinformatics concepts.

Requirements

  • Preference for a background in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or related scientific fields.
  • 2–5 years of proven experience in pure outbound business development or inside sales roles, ideally within the SaaS, biotech, or medical industry.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies; proficiency in basic sales tools and CRM is required.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of independently driving outbound sales initiatives.
  • Excellent organization and time management abilities; resilient, open to coaching, and dedicated to achieving challenging goals.
