{"id":4250,"date":"2026-08-28T14:42:46","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T07:42:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bioturing.com\/blog\/?p=4250"},"modified":"2026-08-28T14:44:45","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T07:44:45","slug":"bioturing-student-support-student-program-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bioturing.com\/blog\/bioturing-student-support-student-program-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"BioTuring Student-Support-Student Program 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the program<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Student-Support-Student is a community initiative jointly organized by BioTuring and our partner organizations, including Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), and Fly to Sky (FTS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our mission is to create meaningful and sustainable educational support by connecting high-achieving high school students (\u201cBuddies\u201d) with talented high school students from underprivileged backgrounds (\u201cSupported Students\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of a one-time donation, the program provides semester-long peer mentorship, giving students the opportunity to learn, share, and grow together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Program Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Program model: 1 Buddy : 2 Supported Students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cohort size: 5 Buddies supporting 10 Supported Students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Duration: 16 weeks \/ 1 semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kickoff Day: Saturday, September 12, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment: At least 3 onsite group sessions during the semester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Throughout the program, a Buddy will:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accompany two Supported Students throughout a 16-week semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exchange learning experiences, study strategies, and academic resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage Supported Students in their academic journey and personal growth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build meaningful networks while developing leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gain real-world career insights and guidance from the BioTuring staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive support from the organizing committee to help make the program a success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who can be a Buddy:<\/strong> High school students in Ho Chi Minh City with strong academic records, particularly in Mathematics, Biology, Informatics, English, or other STEM subjects, who are willing to commit to a 16-week mentorship journey (min 3 onsite group sessions) and genuinely want to support fellow students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Buddy Benefits<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mentorship training.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Onsite group session expenses covered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official CSR Certificate and Appreciation Letter from BioTuring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leadership and mentorship experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Networking opportunities with BioTuring staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coursera scholarship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Join us as a Buddy<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Application form: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/NTZWqJWjyaBYXfLV8\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/NTZWqJWjyaBYXfLV8<\/a>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program is built on a simple belief: meaningful support is not only about giving once, but about being there long enough to make a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contact us:<\/strong> careers@bioturing.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the program The Student-Support-Student is a community initiative jointly organized by BioTuring and our partner organizations, including Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), and Fly to Sky (FTS).
