B-GENS 2026 Program<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our biennial program helps you advance in frontier HPC (high performance computing) and AI technologies for life sciences while building global collaborations with leading bioinformaticians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Description<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Analyze complex biological data (single-cell, spatial, multi-omics) using computational tools and pipelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Design and implement high-performance algorithms for large-scale biological data using CUDA (NVIDIA) or HIP (AMD).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with domain scientists to translate computational biology challenges into GPU-accelerated solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C++ code for production systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Background in either Computer Science\/Bioinformatics\/Biotechnology\/Data science\/Mathematics\/Physics or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Have a passion and a long-term commitment to the field of bioinformatics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A GPA of 3.0\/4.0, or 7.5\/10 or above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Solid background in mathematics and a special interest in science. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Fresh graduates or professionals with less than 2 years of experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
