Role Description<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this critical role, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the robust systems and infrastructure that powers our data intensive bioinformatics platform. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Develop systems architecture focusing on virtualization and containerization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop tools and scripts to automate operations, infrastructure tasks, and client deployments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve reliability across Linux, containers, and Kubernetes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support on-premise client deployments and collaborate on production issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Implement private cloud \/ IaaS for provisioning VM-based Kubernetes worker nodes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Integrate external storage (NAS\/SAN) and high performance networking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Build and maintain CI\/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Employ security best practices for securing and hardening system services and product applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Implement network topology, redundancy and high availability for production systemsnd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Proven experience of at least 5 years in the related fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong Linux troubleshooting and systems knowledge (certified with CompTIA Linux+ or LPIC is a plus).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong Bash scripting skills for Linux system automation (familiarity with Python is also a plus).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Comfortable debugging complex issues across multiple layers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Solid understanding of networking and storage fundamentals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience in building or operating CI\/CD systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Hands-on experience integrating applications with OIDC-compliant identity providers using OpenID connect protocol and\/or OAuth 2.0 (optional).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience with Nvidia GPUs \/ CUDA compute systems (optional).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
